We extend a heart-felt thanks to our friend, Luis Schmidt, who graciously created the electronic rendering of the first movement of Aaron Copland's "Our Town" suite for this site.  Luis makes his home in Leipzig, Germany.

Who we are and what we're doing

As this site has recently undergone a revamp, the content here will be constantly evolving.  We must have a forum to attract visitors and help drive our economy, but in order to do that we've got to have something to offer.  Indeed, there are strong draws for visitors, but our fair town has far, far too many people and points of interest that go unnoticed.  We simply must get the word out.

This space is dedicated to the people of our community and their lives, families and interests.  We welcome your suggestions for ways that we may best represent our people and their dreams--and share our story with the world.

As of now, the Bulletin Board is the main attraction here.  If you'd like to post public interest information on the bulletin board, please click on the appropriate links.  We'll do our best to take care of you.

If you have ideas about things that would be appropriate for inclusion in "Our Town" please let us know.
